Judy Stowers of Apex Stretch is not accredited to teach our Stretch Therapy Teacher Training workshops. Also, she has informed us by email that none of her workshops (Functional Stretch Fundamentals, Intermediate Functional Stretch, and Advanced Functional Stretch) teach Stretch Therapy, but rather something she has recently named as Functional Stretch. We cannot find reference to Functional Stretch anywhere on the net, apart from her site.

The back story:

Judy has done many workshops with us, both in the US, Canada, and here in Australia. She is accredited to teach Stretch Therapy classes.

Earlier this year, we learned that Judy was offering two-day workshops with identical descriptions to those of our Into the Stretch and Deeper Into the Stretch workshops. As well, Judy had advertised and confirmed a five-day Stretch Therapy Teacher Training workshop, but had not discussed this with us before offering it. She is not accredited to offer Teacher Training (currently, only Olivia and Kit teach these workshops), and we asked her to withdraw it.

Now we see that she has rebranded her work as Functional Stretch, but we note that the descriptions of the three component workshops are similar to ours.

These workshops are not cognate with our Stretch Therapy Teacher Training program. To be specific, none of her workshops count as pre-requisite hours for our Stretch Teacher Training program.
