Sleep preparation 1 – lying version

These recordings are designed to help you sleep more deeply and, in time, for the whole night. Please do these on your bed, or on the floor, and not in bed—try to follow the instructions rather than let yourself fall asleep. Paradoxically, staying awake and doing the practise will tangibly improve that night's sleep. The first recording is designed to be done lying; the second is done sitting. If you think you might not be able to stay awake while listening, try the seated version first—it's easier to stay awake while sitting!

Both recording feature Darren Zeising's wonderful compositions of gently shifting tones—these tones are designed specifically to heighten the relaxation effects.

    • Thanks Anna. I have reviewed the links and I think they are all now correct. Thanks for letting us know about the inaccuracies. Cheers, Olivia
